Presenter: Lisa Dick

The iPhone Addict workshop starts off with iPhone/Touch tips and accessories. Then we visit the vital part of any iPhone/iTouch workshop, the apps. These apps have been selected with you, the educator, in mind. You will be introduced to a wide variety of useful apps for both areas of your life, home and work. You will even receive a sneak peak of my second iPhone/Touch workshop, iClass ~ iTouch in the Classroom. Workshop Notes

Of course sharing apps is what the iphone is all about (almost). I will add various apps that were discussed or demonstrated other than those included on the presentation.

i-Clickr - You can control your presentation with various clicker apps. My favorite is i-Clickr. It even gives you screen shots of the presentation and notes to give you the freedom to walk around.
Bump - Are you traveling this year? Get your business card ready! Bump allows you to exchange information by simply shaking your phone towards them.
Wikipedia Mobile - Wiki at your fingertips!
Response - Turns iTouches or iPhones into response systems similar to the Classroom Performance Systems. It is $24.99 for the teacher app and free for additional student responses.

Two students had an hour to find apps for the itouch that related to their current classes. We spent a grand total of $1.99 because most were FREE. Here are their findings:
iHomework
Evernote
Memory Stick
Stanza
Dictionary
Wikipedia Mobile
Formulas Free
Shmoop - The Crucible
